Beautiful, yet practical knife from Master Urakov (Russia). THE CONFIDENCE FACTOR Knife is made out of ZDI 1014 proprietary Damascus steel (HRC 60). Handle fits nicely into the palm, thanks to the wave form. Locking mechanism is tightening nut, which Master Urakov is famous for. Collector's knife, number 5 to be exact. Master's imprint on the blade, as well as number on the handle. This knife will survive heavy use by several generations of knife admirers. Pointy blade has 110 mm in length. Big Expedition knife - that is how we classify this no feathery type (229 grams) hunting, fishing, military knife. Solid construction, reliable, thoughtful design. Beveled on one side blade is for right handed, will not fit or work for leftie. Separate leftie edition is by order only. And yeah! 5.1 mm blade thickness. Philosophy behind this one was to create a big folder, which will perform as fixed blade once opened. Very nice leather sheath for belt positioning.
